This short film won an award. Watch it for yourself and see if you agree with me it deserved to win. Enjoy!

Always an exciting day to finish a project and get it on the blocking mats. I finished a really great series too. For anyone looking for a new Netflix binge while they knit the last few miles on a project, I highly recommend The Night Agent. 😉 Check out Unfurled (by me) on Ravelry if you want to make this pattern.
I love fiber festivals. We don't have enough of them if you ask me. I also beg to differ with those who say you can't buy happiness. I just bought about 2200 yds of it yesterday at the #middletennesseefiberfestival and feel quite happy this morning thinking about what I want to design and make with it. 😁
Between spring break and injuring my foot in martial arts class, #knittingprogress has been slow the last few weeks. Yesterday I FINALLY managed to get in an 8+ hr day of #knitting, and this shop sample is almost done! Can't wait to bind off and block this beauty and see it on display @sunshineweavingandfiberarts along with the kits.
My favorite part of last week's #artmuseum trip: the bright and colorful #jeffreygibson exhibition. Every time I saw ads on Facebook for this, it was calling me to go see it and I'm so glad I did. It didn't disappoint! It's tempting to paint my studio in a bunch of bright stripes because it's energizing walking through rooms like this! My own work is always about color, so it's not surprising I really respond to his work!
Wrapping up spring break with a little trip to the art museum. I had to do a double take of this piece. It is a flat woven piece made with merino wool, linen, viscose and a few other miscellaneous fibers. But when you walk in the room and see it, it looks like a 3-dimensional piece with all the layers of rock. Definitely a weaving masterpiece!
Spring was not here a week ago, but a few days ago, it showed up. Trees are blooming, flowers are blooming, and it's been warm enough to do my #knitting outdoors.
